Hello there, I'm R. Emilio Pineda

I consider myself a writer, and with time and dedication, a published author. I write science fiction that blends elements of fantasy with compelling storytelling.

My background is a curious one. I hold a background in Law: I am an Attorney admitted to practice in New York and Honduras, holding an LL.M. in Corporate Law and Practice, Banking & Finance and Antitrust Regulations as well as an M.Sc. in Project Management. I am currently an SJD (Doctorate in Law) candidate.

While my academic training has shaped the way I think and work, the stories I write come from a different place. They are born from dreams, long years of imagination and a genuine love for storytelling.

In my non-legal writing, I focus on themes of identity, legacy and human connection. I am particularly drawn to long-form narratives that unfold over time, allowing characters and societies to evolve naturally.

I am currently working on multiple projects. This site serves as a space to share my writing, ongoing work and reflections on the creative process.
